Faaker Lake is one of Austria's most famous lakes, and a much-loved vacation paradise. Situated amidst the splendid mountain and lake landscapes of Carinthia, it is a place of comfort and tranquility, perfect for rejuvenating, relaxing days. With a huge variety of recreational activities, an exclusive, much-varied vacation is guaranteed. Rejuvenate amidst pristine nature, here at the end of the peninsula.

Description:

Vacation home built in 2002 in a secluded blind alley.

The house is situated close to the lake (with private dock).

Exclusive villa in an idyllic location, far from traffic noise at the end of the romantic Halbinselstrasse, right by the lake. This is more than just a regular 'vacation quarter.' It is a very charming, light-flooded house with its own dock, which has been meticulously furnished by the owner, and which is available for private use. Its loving details and teak garden furniture offer the highest degree of comfort. The large glass front (in the living room and bedroom) assures an unforgettable view of the romantic lake and the impressive mountains. And, should the sun not shine, relax and enjoy the comforts of our living room and bedrooms (satellite TV and stereo CD systems on both floors). The view of the lake and the mountains is especially impressive from the open fireplace. Or visit one of many sights, such as the giant model railway (right in Faak); fascinating for young and old alike!

    4 provisional sleeping spots are available in the attic.

Contents and furniture: 4 ring stove, oven, fridge with freezer, dish washer, washing machine, clothes dryer, microwave. Terrace, barbecue, garden chairs. CD, satellite TV, radio.
Heated floors, fireplace, spacious room layout, new furnishings, safe.

Pets are welcome (please let us know before you arrive).

Internet access FREE OF CHARGE (WLAN - for your Laptop, PDA or cell phone with WLAN-equipment).

 

Rental fee:
Prices include final cleaning, bedding, towels and tourist taxes: ground floor and 1st floor (total of about 6 - 7 persons).

 

Prepayment: 30% of the rental price on booking, final payment: on our account 4 weeks prior to arrival.

 

Arrival: from 3:00 pm. Departure: day of departure before 10:00 am.

Tap water from fountain, to be used for shower etc., drinking water is sufficiently delivered free of charge in bottles.

 

The last 550 meters to the house:

Road starts near a big parking place steeply increasing (Asphalt), drive along a knoll (gravel road) and downhill to the house.

In winter season (only if snowy or icy) you may need 4-wheel-drive or snow chains for this section - in worst case this section is impassable. In such cases Mr. Warum (see below) will assist you as far as possible.
