Location:
The idyllic Villa Tara is situated on a approx. 1000
sqm estate (surrounded by walls) in the jungle on a hill. It is only 7 minutes by
walk to the sea
and the city center.
Hikkaduwa is a small coastal
city in the south-west of Sri-Lanka. It is approx. 100 kms
south of the capital city Colombo and 20 kms north-west of
the provincial capital Galle.
The village stretches along the coastline and the main
street, as well as along the railway line Colombo - Galle.
Far into the 70's Hikkaduwa was a dreamy fishing village. It
got discovered by surfers or hippies which enjoyed the
untouched beauty of nature. Today there is a large variety
of entertainment and shopping possibilities.
The coral reef is a very popular area to go diving or
snorkeling.
Along the Galle Road there are plenty of shops for food,
fruits and vegetables, tea, jewels, hand crafts and also a
gallery.
The surfers paradise Hikkaduwa
offers dreamlike possibilities for diving, snorkeling or
tours with the glass bottom boat. You also have the
opportunity for extended walks along the exotic beach.
We will be glad to help you to organise some interesting
tours and excursions in the surrounding area.
Each apartment has got a fully
equipped kitchen, in the city (appr. 7 minutes by walk)
there are very cheap and good
restaurants. From our restaurant on the beach, we can supply
you with food too.

The "Guesthouse" on the ground floor has a living space of 60 sqm and from the terrace a direct access to the pool. The
"Guesthouse" in the 1st floor has a living space of 85 sqm, it's own
entrance and a beautiful big balcony, where you can enjoy "Outdoor-living".
The "Master-House" has a living space of 120
sqm on two floors. It also has a terrace, a balcony and direct access to the
pool.
The vacation house is newly and with high
quality furnitures equipped.
It comes with a well equipped kitchen, bedroom ("Masterhouse" with two bedrooms), a
dressing room and a bathroom. The furnishing is of solid teakwood, the
bathroom and the kitchen are of granite and tiles.
The beautiful pool (9 x 5 m - depth: 1,4 m) gets cleaned by our gardener every day. Sun
lounger and bath towels are at your disposal every day.
The housekeeping will clean the rooms five times a week and will change the
bed linen. Towels and bed linen are included.
By request we can also organize a laundry service.

grill, garden furnitures and sun lounger.
The
price includes final cleaning, bed linen, bath and kitchen towels,
as well as taxes.
